Remembering Lost Lives

Fateh Foundation organised a remembrance event to mark the victory of the farmers after the Govt of India reversed its decision to implement controversial farm laws. The decision was welcomed by the local Glenwood (Sydney) community and was attended by the community leaders.

The event remembered the death of over 720 farmers that lost their lives during the year long agitation at the outskirts of New Delhi.

An appeal for a fundraiser was made to help and support the organisations on the ground in India to support the farming families that lost their bread winners during the struggle.

Fateh Foundation collected $2400 for these families and send these funds to Atam Pargas Social Welfare Council in India.

Speakers at the event included Mr Balwinder Singh Chahal, Malwinder Singh,

Devinder Singh Dharia and Harkirat Sandhar managed the stage and event proceedings.
